Important Things to remember about your speech:-

1. Your speech shouldn't be too long that it ends up making people feel bored.

2. Don't make your speech seem mechanical and try to win the viewer's attention.

3. Don't stay stationary and focus on a word or two in each sentence.

Here goes the speech:-

I am not going to take much of your time. All I want to do is to convey my token of Thanks to everybody who supported me to the position I am standing on today. All of us have a thing we are best at. The only thing is that we need to know ourselves and realize it. Today, my teacher have helped me realize my potential through this opportunity of being the Literary Secretary.

I am thankful to my teachers for trusting me. I promise that I won't let anybody down and would always try to give my best. All of you have a great potentials too. It is just that we need to realize it. I would surely help you out with out. We have been selected to guide you after all. All of us have to do our own bit. After all, the sky is not the limit !

I strive to continue to make improvements in myself so that I can prove myself. I strive to lead everybody even in the difficult circumstances. I've been involved in various activities. Today, I feel like my hard work has paid off. I promise I would end all your homework... Just Kidding... I can't do that.

But I can ensure you that you won't regret for trusting me !

Rules for implementing a speech:

1) Be short - simple and clear .

Writing and giving a speech should be to point and not an essay which make the listener boring and may be the cause of loss of interests.

2) Be confident , Be yourself:

Confidence and honesty is all required when you are going to ask for lots of trust . Main thing all require is modesty towards the Honour provided with.

3) No cruelties towards opposing leaders

Be and say for the upliftment of yours and not for the down pull of the opposing parties.

4) make a slogan

slogan will always help in increasing the majority of votings.

Good morning  Respected teachers and my dear friends/fellow mates.

I ,<your name>,am very glad to have u all as my friends and grateful to have the love and care of Respected teachers.

Friendship, in deep, is the bond of trust , which I require the most from you all . Having got up for the school election isn't the actual aim , but for me , the developments ,improvements in some lacking points is to be regarded first .

I promise  you all that I would do all the possible tasks  which can help all of us to gain more preciseness ( developing for much better results). I would hear all your issues , help u in all the sectors of education and other curricular ,cultural activities .

Let's fly higher together ... ofcourse not by a rocket XD  ,but with the change we need.
