\sf On \: Rs. 100\:, the\: Tax\: to\: be\: paid = \: Rs. 12\\\\On\: Rs. 13,000 \:, the \: Tax \: to\: be\: paid = Rs. (13000\times\frac{12}{100})\\\\\\= Rs. 1560

On Rs. 100, the Tax to be paid =Rs. 12

On Rs. 13,000, the Tax to be paid =Rs.

(13000 \times \frac{12}{100} ) = rs.1560\\

Required Amount = CostPrice + SalesTax

=Rs. 13,000+ Rs. 1,560

=Rs. 14,560

Thus, Vinod will have to pay Rs. 14,560 for the T.V.
