•Last evening I went to the railway station to see my uncle off. The train arrived. All the compartments were over-crowded. Passengers ran from one compartment to another. People who were inside tried to get out. Those who were outside tried to get in. There was a great deal of jostling. Some smart ones elbowed their way in. Everybody was in a hurry. The scene was very colorful. The vendors cried their wares. Their cries were amusing. The Waterman served water to thirsty passengers. A newsboy hurried about selling his newspapers and magazines. After about fifteen minutes, the engine gave a whistle. The guard waved a green flag, and the train steamed off.

The scene of the railway station is always very interesting and exciting for me and my sister as well. All of us sat on the seats near the platform and started to wait for our particular train. after every five minutes, we could see trains coming and going with lots of passengers inside them.
