Question :

  \mathfrak{\frac{2m + 5}{3}  = 3m - 10}

To find :

The value of m in this equation

Solution :

 \mathfrak{ \frac{2m + 5}{3}  = 3m - 10}

By cross multiplication we get :

 \mathfrak{2m + 5 = 3(3m - 10)}

 \mathfrak{2m + 5 = 9m - 30}

 \mathfrak{2m  -  9m =  - 30 - 5}

 \mathfrak{ - 7m =  - 35}

 \mathfrak{m =  \frac{ - 35}{ - 7} }

 \mathfrak{m = 5}
