Given :-

  • 4u² + 8u

To find :-

  • Zeros of the given polynomial

Solution :-

→ 4u² + 8u = 0

Take "4u" as a common

→ 4u(u + 2) = 0

Either

→ 4u = 0

→ u = 0

Or

→ (u + 2) = 0

→ u = - 2

Hence,

  • Zeros of the given polynomial are 0 and - 2

Extra Information :-

  • (a + b)² = a² + b² + 2ab
  • (a - b)² = a² + b² - 2ab
  • a² - b² = (a + b)(a - b)
  • (a + b)³ = a³ + b³ + 3ab(a + b)
  • (a - b)³ = a³ - b³ - 3ab(a - b)
