The process of transfer of a pollen from anther to stigma of a same or different flower is called pollination.

1) \: self \: pollination

It occurs when pollen from anther lands on the stigma of same flower is called Self Pollination. It only occurs in Bisexual Flowers.

2) \: cross \: pollination

When pollen from anther land on stigma of another flower of the same plants or another plant of same kind .It can take place in both Unisexual and Bisexual Flowers.
