\red\mapsto Raziya-al-Din was born in 1205 in Budaun India. Raziya-ul-Din , popularly known as Razia Sultanate . She was ruler of delhi sultanate which lies in northern plane of Indian Subcontinent. She belongs to sunni islam religion. She was the first female Muslim ruler of the india. Her mother was Mamluk Sultanate and father Iltutmish. As her father was busy in gawlior campaign she administered delhi during 1231-1232. Iltutmish was succeeded by Razia's half-brother Ruknuddin firuz whose mother Shah Turkan planned to execute her.

Razia instigated the general public during the rebellion against Ruknuddin and against shah Turkan, and achieved the throne after Ruknuddin was deposed in 1236.

Razia's achieved was challenged by sections of nobles , some of sections, ultimately joined while others were defeated.

Turkic nobles expect her to figurehead and also supported her but she increased his assert power. This thing made her against turkic officer .

And she was deposed by a group of nobles in April 1240, after having a rule of 4 years. She married with one of the rebels named Ikhtiyaruddin Altunia . Then she attempted to reign the throne, but defeated by her half-brother.

His successor Maizuddin Bahram.In 15 october 1240 she died in kaithal Delhi Sultanate.

Raziya Sultan, the only Muslim woman ruler of Delhi, succeeded Iltutmish.

  • Defying the gender bias and orthodox cultural practices of her age, she put on male attire and appeared unveiled in public and in public.

  • Her rule marked the beginning of a power struggle between the Sultan and the Chahalgani.
