The resistance of the wire is due to the obstruction to the flow of electrons. If we think about the obstructions, what are the possible reasons?
Let's think.
The width of the conductor is definitely a factor. If the width is less, the obstruction is more and thus the resistance is more. (Thus resistance is inversely proportional to Area)
Then comes the inter electronic obstruction. That's due to the vibration of the electrons. This is the factor that gets most affected by the heat. When heat increases, the vibrational energy of electrons increases thus more inter electronic obstruction is faced and thus the resistance increases.
Hope this helps.☺️✌️
