Answer:

causes for the rise of FASCISM:

fascism was an extension of extreme nationalism, statism, and militarism. people like Mussolini and Hitler were very influential and vocal and both thought that their countries were losing their values to communist and liberals and that the old world values were deteriorating. the developed fascism as a response to this and took very strict control of their countries to prevent their societies from becoming corrupt. in theory of course, a lust for power was likely a very strong motivator for the men themselves.

causes for the rise of NAZISM:

the book named " The coming of the Third Reich" by Richard J. Evans explains it all in great detail. There was more than one factor:

1. humiliating defeat in the WWI which created the sentiment of humiliated empire.

2. enormous financial reparations Germany had to pay under the treaty of Versailles.

3. The great depression.

4. The failure of wiemar republic to effectively deal with any of those challenges.

5. The weakness of democratic institutions.

6. the failure to evaluate the danger presented by the Nazis and their ideology.

7. The fear of looming " socialist revolution" that grasped large swaths of German society ( especially the middle class)

Answer:

The rise of fascism in Italy began during World War I, when Benito Mussolini and other radicals formed a political group (called a fasci) supporting the war against Germany and Austria-Hungary.

The first meeting of Mussolini’s Fasci of Revolutionary Action was held on January 24, 1915.
