King Midas was a greedy and selfish man who didn't think of the upcoming times but just for a moment's happiness and prosperity he asked for a boon that would convert everything he touch into gold.

The food he ate , the water he drank , his beloved wife and innocent daughter all became the prey . He was selfish , took fast decision and didn't think about the consequences at any point of time .

While his daughter ; the innocent soul came down to play with him . Near him unaware of the hell she was going to go through and unfortunately he touched her and she turned into gold as well .

This is a famous story about a king who asks for a boon that would convert all the things he touch into gold . The saint fulfilled his wish and left the king's place .

In excitement the king touches everything around him to check if it's working and it was !

All the pillars around him , objects around , and everything turned into gold .

He continued this act for some time when he felt hungry . The food he touched became gold as well ! His throat was burning . He wanted to drink water but couldn't do that even !

Then his loving daughter comes near him and wanted to ask if he would play with her ; he gently touched her head forgetting about his touch . She turned into gold as well .

Here he understood that good greed was the worst thing and wanted everything to be normal .

King Midas's little daughter was in the garden, picking roses. When she saw her father, she ran into his arms for a hug and turned to gold.

King Midas hung his head and cried. As his tears fell on his precious roses they turned to gold, but the king did not care.
