QUANTUM PHYSICS❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️

➡️Introduction:

We all 've been studying Newton's Classical Mechanics in our school..

Well... I'd say that Newton's laws were a game changer in the 17th Century. It was dealing with macro level objects(objects that can be seen with our eyes)

And there came our Einstein, with his more complex Theory of Relativity in the 20th century..This actually changed our perception on Physics.

Around that time, the basic concepts of Quantum Mechanics (another branch) sprouted.

I think u've completed ur 10th..So in 10th, u've learnt abt nature of light(reflection, refraction, etc). All these deals with the particle nature of light.

Well, in 12th, u'll also learn about wave nature of light.

Actually, light, and all other electromagnetic radiatons(incl light) shows wave as well as particle nature..This is called dual nature.

Sounds pretty interesting right?

Till 20th century, it was a heated argument btw Physicists that whether light is particle or wave. Max Planck stated that light shows dual nature. Einstein's Photoelectric effect (which won him Nobel☺️✌️)(u can comment on if u need more explanation abt Photoelectric effect) gives the particle nature of light, and Double Slit Experiment proves perfectly that light behaves as a wave as well as particle.

Also the Black body radiatons (u can comment for more details) cannot be explained with Classical Physics of Newton. Definitely, it can be explained with Quantum Mechanics.

So what abt electrons?

Yeah..Electrons too show particle as well as wave nature.

The planetary Model which u've learnt in 10th is outdated.

De Broglie proved that every particle shows wave nature..With increase in speed, decrease in size, and higher energy, it will show more wave nature.

So electrons are revolving around the nucleus like a wave.

➡️So what's actually Quantum Mechanics????

It's really dealing everything from the microlevel of an atom....

In quantum mechanics, light and matter are dual. Sometimes they show wave nature, sometimes they show particle nature. This idea is the fundamental of Quantum Mechanics.

Later , another Physicist, Schrodinger redesigned the concept of De Broglie.

He made a new complex equation and assigned wave function to every quantum object.

There're more details, incl the most relevant superposition principle..but it needs a good understanding in wave function (u've just done with ur 10th only)(so I'll leave that topic)

I've much more to say abt Quantum Superposition, Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle(u'll study in 11th), Quantum Tunneling, Spin of electrons (study in 11th), wave function symmetry, fermions, bosons, quantum entanglement, Casimir Effect, Hawking Radiation(Contributed by Our one and only Stephen Hawkings❤️✌️), etc, etc..

So these topics are more vast...

And for explaining it well, u must first know the atomic structure (I've explained some part, but it is more complex)(it is not that u've learnt in 10th), (I need almost 2-3hrs to explain it in brief in a direct face-to-face conversation... really it can't be explained simply here..)..Srry for that..

Anyway u'll learn abt actual atomic structure in 11th Chemistry..

So once u learn that, ask me to explain Quantum Mechanics.. I'll explain it in more detailed.☺️✌️

➡️One super application of Quantum Mechanics:

Oh..yeah... it's really going to be a game changer in the field of computers.

What we are using is classical computers where bits(0,1) are the basics..

So things are quite different in a quantum computer.. We'll use 'qubit' here.

It's just like how a cube is to a square.

Moreover, these computers will have super speed. They can perform very complex things in just seconds... We're in the beginning stage of qubit computing(I think there is no major course for qubit computing in India)...

So here... I've mentioned only a little abt Quantum Physics...

For knowing the basics(I've already discussed here, u can watch simple YouTube videos(Ted-Edu,etc)...nd u need more knowledge in Physics to really understand Quantum Mechanics)(u can look after ur 12th)

♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️

Much more, Quantum Mechanics is really an interesting as well as DIFFICULT topic..U can't relate anything with ur day-to-day lyf like we deal with Newton's Classical Mechanics.

So bye...☺️✌️

Image-2(Wave nature of Electron, actually it is 3-D, and can't be drawn on a paper)

QUANTUM PHYSICS

Quantum mechanics, including quantum field theory, is a fundamental theory in physics which describes nature at the smallest scales of energy levels of atoms and subatomic particles. Classical physics, the physics existing before quantum mechanics, describes nature at ordinary scale

IT IS BRANCH OF PHYSICS CONCERNED WITH QUANTUM THEORY

FOUR THINGS U HAVE TO KNOW IN QUANTUM PHYSICS.

1)QUANTUN PHYSICS IS VERY SMALL

2) QUANTUM PHYSICS IS NOT A MAGIC

3) QUANTUM PHYSICS IS PROBABILISTIC

4) EVERYTHING IS MADE OF WAVES ALSO PARTICLES
