Question

❥A rhombus has diagonals that measure 6 cm and 8 cm. What is its area? How much does each side measure ?

___________________________

Solution

The Diagonal of rhombus is 6,8cm

The area of triangle is given as

= 1/2 × 6 × 8

= 3 × 8

= 24cm²

The Diagonal right bisect each other

So, the sides of right triangle formed

By diagonals and sides are 3,4

____________________________

So, By Pythagoras theorem

Side² = 3² + 4²

Side² = 16 + 9

Side² = 25

Side² = √25

Side² = 5
