Step-by-step explanation:

1) radius of a circle =35m

circumference of the circle is 2πr.

here r=35m

so circumference is 2*1*35-220m.

total path the boy has to

follow-220×4-880m.

his walking speed=5km per hour 5000m per 60 minutes

so he need 880-(5000/60)-10.56 minutes to complete the path.

Answer= 10.56 minutes

2) Let the radius of the circular field be r m.

Perimeter of the circular field = Circumference of the field.

=) 660 = 2πr

.º. Diameter of the circular field = 2 x 105 = 210 m,

Vertices of the square plot lie on the circumference of the circle.

•Diameter of the circular field = Diagonal of the square plot.

=) 210 = BD.

In right AABD,

AB² + AD² = BD².

=) AB²+ AB²= (210) ².

=) 2AB² = 210 x 210.

=) AB²= (210 x 210 )/2.

.º.AB² = 22050 m².

A

.º. side² = 22050 m².

✔✔ Hence, area of the square plot is 22050 m² VV.

Answer= 22050 m²
