\large\mathbf\red{SOLUTION :-}

Let the ratio of corresponding sides of similar triangles is S1 : S2 = 3 : 5

Since the triangles are similar then

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀

\frac{A1}{A2} = (\frac{S1}{S2})^2 = (\frac{3}{5})^2 = \frac{9}{16}

⠀⠀⠀

⠀ ⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀

∴ The ratio of the area is 9:16
