•Explain The Accident Of Chernobyl..
•Who Was Responsible For The Chernobyl Accident..
•What Were The Causes And Effects Of The Chernobyl Accident..
Answers
The Chernobyl accident in 1986 was the result of a flawed reactor design that was operated with inadequately trained personnel. The resulting steam explosion and fires released at least 5% of the radioactive reactor core into the environment, with the deposition of radioactive materials in many parts of Europe.
______________Anatoly
- Dyatlov____________CitizenshipSoviet, Ukrainian
- Alma mater___________Moscow Engineering Physics Institute
- Known for ____________Deputy chief-engineer of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant
- Criminal charge(s)____________Gross violation of safety regulations
The hot fuel particles reacted with water and caused a steam explosion, which lifted the 1,000-metric-ton cover off the top of the reactor, rupturing the rest of the 1,660 pressure tubes, causing a second explosion and exposing the reactor core to the environment.

Anatoly Stepanovich Dyatlov (Russian: Анатолий Степанович Дятлов; 3 March 1931 – 13 December 1995) was deputy chief engineer of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. He supervised the safety test which resulted in the 1986 Chernobyl disaster, for which he served time in prison as he was blamed for not following the safety protocols. He was released as part of a general amnesty in 1990.
