Answer:

Let the red ball be x

blue ball = 2.79+x

So 14 red ball = 14x

So 9 blue ball =9x +25.11

So total weight =

25.11+9x+14x =128.61

25.11+23x =128.61

23x =128.61-25.11=

23x= 103.50=

x = \frac{103.50}{23}x=

23

103.50

x = \frac{10350}{23 \times 100}x=

23×100

10350

x = \frac{10350}{2300}x=

2300

10350

X=4.5

So red ball weight = 4.5g

So blue ball = 4.5g+2.79g

Blue ball = 7.29. Answer

Answer:

Hello Finex!

Your answer is 7.29g

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the red ball be r and blue ball be b

r  \to \: 14 \\  \\ b \to \: 9 \\  \\ b = r + 2.79 \\  \\

Total weight =128.61g

14r + 9b = 128.61 \\  \\ 14 \: r + 9(r + 2.79) =128.61 \\  \\  = 14r + 9r + 25.11 = 128.61 \\  \\  = 23r = 103.5 \\  \\  \therefore \: r =  \frac{103.5}{23}  \\  \\  = 4.5g \\  \\ b = 4.5 + 2.79  \\  \\  = 7.29g

Hence blue ball is 7.29 g
