Dear Rosaline,
I know it's been long since I have dropped you a line ; and I plead your apology for that. As you know frequent club activity and all the hustle bustle of my hostel life has made me feel like I am one of those cracker mongers on the road . I neither had the time nor the energy to write to you . It seems that you have never once failed to write me a letter for the last 6 months even though there wasn't much reciprocity or complementarity from my side. I really appreciate your efforts at sustaining our friendship even after we have exchanged paths when I left Hyderabad. But the reason d'aêtre of me writing this letter is to inform you about all the fun I had at the resort at Vermont my parents took me to. As you know my parents are professors and hence don't have enough time for me due to which they had to leave me in the hostel where they once lived. Even though I was happy during the inital days of my stay here, frequent study stress, visits from unwanted people and distractions made me go against my own statement. When I no longer could tolerate all the hustle bustle of my hostel life I decided to ask my parents to take a break and come join me to a trip to some fancy resort. Of course they retorted and tried convincing me to stay here as well, but my continued pleas made them decide to book a trip to Vermont. Vermont has always been a dream location for me to go to, so when I heard they decided to go there for the winter vacation my happiness just started sky rocketing. I as a history geek and buff couldn't be more interested to go to any other place as I was when I was going to Vermont, due to Vermont being a great historical spot. The architecture of that place never failed to intrigue me. I never knew that Vermont was an ideal spot for partiers fro all over the world and tourists due to it having one of the most beautiful and mysterious resort(which was actually a mansion built by the Germans during world war 2 ) . This place seemed to house a lot of German architecture or architecture that was an offshoot of German practices . Some of them are the allotment gardens(Schrebe garden) and double tinkered houses(Fachwerkuhaüser). Moreover the volkornbrott that was offered was also an offshoot of German mini bread(brotchën). But all these were just complementaries when in comparison to the breath taking view with snow the resort had to offer . The resort had the special ability to create a mese en scéne of snowy avalanche (which was not really there). But not only that . The fun I had at the resort while playing with the snow was sky high when simply put. The resort had torques arranged in all the corners of their mansion. These torques housed ice figures which were in the shapes of Cinderella, price Charming , the seven dwarves from the sleeping beauty and also the evil stepsisters of Cinderella. These figures had snow spiked in all of their holes which made them leak snow whenever a person touched it. I as always being the mischievous one threw a ball on the Cinderella figure making snow fall on my mom and dad . I had a great laugh when I saw their faces covered with snow. I was about to throw more snow on them before they could escape when a big ball of snow came from the vicinity, fell on my face making me slip on the floor and fall face down. It seemed that Sasha, a Russian girl had played a prank on me. We had great fun together before we had to leave the resort due to my mom and dad's lectures and semesters starting next week. All in all the fun I had here was sky high and I am hoping to come here again the next year .
