Required answer :

Question : -

• ( x² + 10x + 25 ) by (x+5)

Solution : -

We have to divide ( x² + 10x + 25 ) with (x+5) term using long division method

Given,

• Dividend = (x² + 10x + 25)

• Divisor = (x+5)

• Quotient = ?

 \dfrac{ (x² + 10x + 25) }{(x+5)} \: = \: x \: + \: 5

After dividing (x² + 10x + 25) with (x+5) remainder will be 0 and answer will be x+5

Now we have to verify :

So as to verify multiply the divisor with quotient.

(x+5) (x+5)

x(x+5) + 5(x+5)

x² + 5x + 5x + 25

x² + 10x + 25

Hence, verified

Answer:

(X²+10X+25) / (X+5)

= (X)²+2×5×X+(5)²/X+5

=(X+5)²/X+5

= ( X+5)×(X+5)/(X+5)

=X+5
