\tt\red{Total\; money = 12000Rs.}

\tt\red{First\; investment = x Rs.}

\tt\red{Second \;investment = (12000−x)Rs.}</p><p>[tex]\tt\red{First \;income = }[tex]\tt\red{ \frac{10}{100}  \times x =  \frac{x}{10} }

\tt\red{Second \;income =} \tt\red{\frac{12}{100}(12000-x)}

\tt\red{So, \frac{10x}{100}  +  \frac{12}{100}(12000 - x ) = 1280}

 \tt\red{⇒10x+144000−12x=128000}

 \tt\red{⇒144000−128000=2x }

\tt\red{⇒x =  \frac{16000}{2}  = 8000}

\tt\red{⇒12000−x=4000} \small\bf\green{Investments \:  are  \: 8000 and \:  4000 \:  Rs.}
