Answer:

Let the cost of 1 kg apples be 'x'

The cost of 1 kg grapes be 'y'

Therefore, cost of 2 kg apples = 2x

and cost of 1 kg grapes = y

Total cost of 2 kg apples and 1 kg grapes is Rs. 160.

Algebrically, 2x + y = 160 Eq. (1)

After a month,

Cost of 4 kg apples = 4x

and Cost of 2 kg grapes = 2y

Now, the total cost of 4 kg apples and 2 kg grapes is Rs. 300.

Algebrically, 4x + 2y = 300 Eq.(2)

Hope you got your answer

Thank you
