Nope! No step has any mistake.
A fraction can be converted to its decimal expansion (without actual division) by first converting it's denominator into 2^m × 5^n form, then changing the denominator into 10^p form by multiplying and dividing by 2^a × 5^b (where a and b are the required exponents to change the denominator into 10^p form).
