Given,

l=24cm (of a tile)

b=10cm (of a tile )

Area of a tile (in parallelogram shape) =l×bcm 2

=24×10

 =240cm2

Total floor area =1080m2

10000cm2 = 1m2

Required number of tiles to cover the floor area  =2401080×10000

                                                                                 =45000
