Veerasalingam Pantulu spoke against child marriage, evils of caste system. He founded the 'Rajahmundry Social Reform Association' which focussed on widow remarriage. During his lifetime he got around 40 widows remarried. He encouraged people to think freely and rationally, to love freedom and equality.
