and his son age be y

ATQ

x = 2y

x - 20 = 4 ( y - 20 )

x-2 = 4y - 80

x - 4y = - 80 + 20

x - 4y = -60

Putting the value of x

2y - 4y = -60

- 2y = -60

y = 30

Now,

x= 2y

x= 2 X 30

x = 60

therefore Hari age is 60 yrs

and his son's age is 30 yrs..
