• The Term Green and Clean Energy :-

The term Green and Clean energy refers to the the term of energy which is obtained from natural sources like Solar Energy , Wind Energy etc. Which doesn't cause harm to environment and helps in achieving global peace.

Green energy are renewable and replenishable source of energy as it can be recycled or present in a unlimited quantity.

• One Step towards Clean and Green Energy :

" A transition to clean energy is about making an investment in the future " This line means that we have to use Clean energy because in future it is the source of investment for us as it eco- friendly , cheap source of energy. After the development in the technology we have discovered the new ways to use green and clean energy and it is important because if we talk about the non - renewable source of energy they are not as much as Eco - Friendly , Present in limited quantity and cause harm to environment.

The most important reason behind the depletion of ozone layer is Non - Renewable source of energy.

The term Green and Clean energy is a part of Sustainable development . Sustainable development refers to the judicious use of resources so that it can meets the needs of Present generation as well as future generation without causing harm to the environment.

In 1992 , Agenda 21 , Rio Declaration on environment and Development and the statement of principles for the sustainable management of forests , Global sustainable development were adopted by more than 178 governments at the United Nations conference on Environment and Development held in Rio de Janeiro Brazil .

Our Indian ministery had also contributed to clean and green energy by making Eco - Friendly policies . Some of them are as follows :-

• Food Security

• Swatch Bharat Abhiyan

• National Mission for green India .

• Energy access, Energy Efficiency,

Renewable energy etc.

Single Person can also contribute towards Clean and Green India :-

• For covering short distances we can cover it by cycling or by walking instead of using vechiles.

• Minimum use of fossil fuels

• We can use CNG ( Compressed Natural Gas ) and LPG ( Liquefied Petroleum Gas) because they are Cleaner fuel .

• Instead of burning waste we can collect the waste in a dug so that it can decompose by the action of microorganisms.

Advantages of Green and Clean Energy :-

• Green and Clean energy are Eco - Friendly energy .

• Cheap Source of Energy

• Present in a unlimited quantity or if they are presented in limited quantity so they can be replenished

• It is based on the alternative " Reduce , Reuse and Recycle

• Green and Clean energy is beneficial for health $.$
