Given:-

Mass = 22.42 g  

Volume = 4.7 cm³

Suppose the maximum possible error of mass and volume are 0.01 g and 0.1 cm³.  

Density=  \frac{Mass of block}{Volumeofblock}

We need to calculate the maximum possible error in density  

Using formula of density:-

Δρ/ρ × 100 = Δm/m × 100 + ΔV/V × 100

Substitute the values

Δρ/ρ × 100 = 0.01/22.42 × 100 + 0.7/4.7 × 100

Δρ/ρ × 100 = 2.2%
