 Given \: 3x^{2} + 2x^{2}y^{2}-y^{4}

 = 3x^{2} + 3xy^{2} - 1xy^{2} - y^{4}

 = 3x( x + y^{2}) - y^{2}(x + y^{2})

 = (x+y^{2})(3x-y^{2})

Therefore.,

 \red{ 3x^{2} + 2x^{2}y^{2}-y^{4} }

 \green {= (x+y^{2})(3x-y^{2}) }
