HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER:

Use Square Rule:

 {i}^{2}  =  - 1

1:

i - 1 +  {i}^{3}  +  {i}^{4}

Isolate:

 {i}^{2}

2:

i - 1 +  {i}^{2} i + {i}^{4}

Use Square Rule:

 {i}^{2}  =  - 1

3:

i - 1 - 1 \times i +  {i}^{4}

Use fourth power rule:

 {i}^{4}  =  {i}^{2}   {i}^{2}  = ( - 1)( - 1) = 1

4:

i - 1 - 1 \times i + 1

Simplify;

1 \times i \: to \: i

5:

i - 1 - i + 1

Collect like terms:

6:
