No one has ever seen the future, except those astrologers who claim to predict it. But you see, they always talk about predicting and not being exact. But ignoring the exceptions, no one has seen the future. What we have seen and experienced is the present. We can make plans for the future, but we're never 100% sure that it'll go on as we've planned. Also, if we keep on thinking about what's going to happen in the future, we'll never live the present!

Living in the present has three major benefits. First, it helps you realise what is life and how beautiful it is. Second, it helps you plan your future and work accordingly. Third, it helps you to be precise and manage time, instead of wasting your time thinking about the future.

So I would suggest you to live in the present and design your own future! ♡

Hope it helps ya!

SHOULD WE LIVE FOR THE PRESENT OR FOR THE FUTURE. ?

Live in the present with hope for the future.

We all live with faith. We are confident - certain - that we will read and write again on Quora tomorrow, attend that business seminar, finally finish those exams, see that cute boy/girl in the hallway at school, receive the goods we ordered online the day before yesterday, and live another week.

Are we guaranteed any of these things?

No. We can only hope for it.

To hope means to want something to be true. It means “tomorrow,” “later,” “in the future,” and “let's wait and see.”

To live means to be alive. It means “here,” “now,” “today,” and “in this very moment.”

Hope is the idealistic friend that motivates us from one moment and one day to the next. It enables us to live for the future.

Life, on the other hand, is the realistic friend that controls hope's wild and optimistic dreams with the bridle of its final say.

We are only guaranteed the here and the now; best we live it, along with the silent hope for another tomorrow embedded in our hearts.
