Answer:

Fencing is done at the perimeter so, perimeter of rectangular park=2(l+b)

 = 2 \times 50 + 45m \\  \\  = 2 \times 95m \\  \\  = 190m

Rate of fencing per meter=Rs 4

Rate of fencing 190m=190×4

=Rs 760

 \rule{190pt}{2.5pt}

Additional information:-

  • A perimeter is a closed path that encompasses, surrounds, or outlines either a two dimensional shape or a one-dimensional length.
  • You can find the perimeter of any shape by adding the lengths of each side together.
  • Fencing is done at the perimeter so, perimeter of rectangular park=2(l+b)=2(350+250)

Answer:

Given :

  • A rectangular field of length 50m and breadth 45m.
  • Cost of fencing is Rs.4 per meter.

To Find :

  • Cost of fencing of the rectangular field.

____________________

Solution :

As, We know that :

★ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(L+B)

Here,

  • Length = 50m
  • Breadth = 45m

=⟩ 2(L+B)

=> 2( 50+45 )

=> 2( 95 )

=> 190m

Therefore, 190m will be fenced.

____________________

★ Cost of 1m fence = Rs. 4

Cost of 190m fence = 190 × 4

=> Rs. 760

Therefore, Rs. 760 will be needed to fence the rectangular field.
