ANSWER -
Nutrition in which an organism is dependent on another organism for its food material is called heterotrophic mode of nutrition.Examples are human beings, animals, fungi etc.
Three types of heterotrophic nutrition are:-
1. Holozoic nutrition
the mode of nutrition in which organisms intake complex food materials and are broken down into simpler forms by the specific digestive system of organism. E.g. Human.
2. Saprophytic nutrition
The mode of nutrition in which organisms obtain nutrition on dead and decaying matters is known as saprophytic nutrition. E.g. Fungus.
3. Parasitic nutrition
It is the mode of heterotrophic nutrition in which an organism lives inside the body of another organism called host and obtain nutrition from the host. E.g. Plasmodium
Answer:
types of heterotrophic Nutrition:--
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
saprophytic:-
Saprophytic nutrition is usually displayed by bacteria and fungi living in moist environments. They decompose organic dead and decaying matter by extracellular digestion, which is the secretion of digestive juices that break down matter around them
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
parasitic :-
They climb on other trees known as host plant and absorb the readymade food. Therefore plants like Cuscuta are known as parasite.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
holozoic :-
Holozoic nutrition is a method of nutrition that involves the ingestion of liquid or solid organic material, digestion, absorption and assimilation of it to utilize it. It includes taking in the complex substances and converting them into simpler forms.
