Perimeter= Sum of two equal side + third side.

= 2 X 2 5/6+ x(variable side)=10 3/4

=17/3 + x =43/4

x=61/12= 5 1/12. cm

Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN

  • Pr. of an Isosceles ∆ = 43/4 cm
  • One Side measures = 9/4 cm

TO FIND

  • Other Side measure

SOLUTION

  • Let say the third side be x.

∴ x + 9/4 + 9/4 = 43/4

→ x + 18/4 = 43/4

→ x = 43/4 - 18/4

→ x = 25/4
