The sides of rectangular field are in the ratio 9 ratio 7 and its perimeter is 144, find the sides​. ​

• Ratio of the sides of the rectangular field = 9:7
• Perimeter = 144

TO FIND

• Sides of Rectangle

SOLUTION

Let the length be 9x and Breadth be 7x.

Perimeter = 2(L+B)

Where,

• L = Length
• B = Breadth

⟹ 144 = 2(9x+7x)

⟹ 144 = 18x+14x

⟹ 32x = 144

⟹ x = 144/32

⟹ x = 4.5

‡ So , the length and breadth of the rectangle is 40.5 and 31.5
