Answer:

Mr. Sanjeev sharma is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of "Gujrat Sales Limited". Production Manager of his company is going to get the repair work of a part of his factory done, on a large scale. As such, company will not be able to produce some of the products for some time. It will have to sell only those goods which are lying on stock.

Considering it, the production manager has asked the sales executives to slow down the place of sales. On the other hand, since the sales manager has set high targets of sales, he has been insisting on the sales executive to speed up the sales.

  • Initial velocity ( u ) = 30 m/s
  • Final velocity ( v ) = 0
  • Distance covered ( s ) = 50 m
  • Mass - 1 kg

To Find -

  • The force of friction between the stone and the ice

Solution -

by third equation of motion ,

  • v = 0
  • u = 30
  • s = 50

{\sf{:\implies   - 900 =  100a}}

{\sf{:\implies a =  \dfrac{ - 900}{100}    }}

now acceleration is negative hence it is retardation .

Now , we know that
