molecular weight of 100% compound = 397

atomic weight of oxygen in compound

= 397 × 32.1/100

now, atomic weight of 1 Oxygen = 16

so, number of oxygen atom in compound =

=> (397 × 32.1/100 × 1/16 )

==> 8 atoms of O2
