Here is your Answer,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

Given,

  • Half perimeter of rectangular garden = 36m
  • Let width = x m

Now according to Question

  • Length = x+4 m

Half perimeter of rectangular garden = 1/2×2(l+b)

=> 1/2×2(x+4+x) = 36 m

=> 2x+4 = 36 m

=> 2x = 32 m

=> x = 16 m

Now , dimensions are

Length = x+4 = 16+4 = 20m

Width = x = 16 m.
