Answer:

10.

We have to reduce fraction  \large \text{$\dfrac{10080}{40320} $}

First divide the fraction by 10 we get

\large \text{$\dfrac{1008}{4032} $}

Now 4032 is completely divisible by 1008

4 times 1008 is equal to 4032

So we get  \large \text{$\dfrac{1 }{4} $}

9.

Let from x should subtract to get 5 / 4

\large \text{$x-\dfrac{-5}{6}=\dfrac{5}{4}$}\\\\\\\large \text{$x=\dfrac{5}{4}+\dfrac{-5}{6}$}\\\\\\\large \text{$x= \dfrac{15-10}{12}$}\\\\\\\large \text{$x=\dfrac{5}{12}$}

8.

Let y should add to get 3 / 4

\large \text{$y+\dfrac{-2}{7}=\dfrac{3}{4}$}\\\\\\\large \text{$y=\dfrac{2}{7}+\dfrac{3}{4}$}\\\\\\\large \text{$y=\dfrac{8+21}{28}$}\\\\\\\large \text{$y=\dfrac{29}{28}$}

7.

We have to divide the fraction

\large \text{$\dfrac{-2}{12}/\dfrac{3}{4}$}\\\\\\\large \text{$\dfrac{-2}{12}\times\dfrac{4}{3}$}\\\\\\\large \text{$\dfrac{-2}{3}\times\dfrac{1}{3}$}\\\\\\\large \text{$\dfrac{-2}{9}$}

6.

First make the denominator same

Multiply by 4 and 5 in both fraction

\large \text{$\dfrac{-2}{5}\times\dfrac{4}{4}$}\\\\\\\large \text{$\dfrac{-8}{20}$}\\\\\\\large \text{Now in second fraction}\\\\\\\large \text{$\dfrac{3}{4} \times\dfrac{5}{5} $}\\\\\\\large \text{$\dfrac{15}{20}$}\\\\\\\large \text{So rational number between $\dfrac{-8}{20} \ and \ \dfrac{15}{20}$}\\\\\\\large \text{$\dfrac{-7}{20}, \ \dfrac{-6}{20}, \ \dfrac{-5}{20} \ ....$}

5.

Mod mean value will be positive only

[\large \text{$\dfrac{-2}{12}+\dfrac{-3}{4}$}]\\\\\\\\\large \text{$\dfrac{-2-9}{12}$}\\\\\\\large \text{$\dfrac{-11}{12} $}\\\\\\\large \text{Becasue of mod value will be positive so answer $\dfrac{11}{12}$}

4.

We have to simplify

\large \text{$\dfrac{-7}{6}+ \dfrac{3}{8} -\dfrac{5}{4}$}\\\\\\\large \text{$\dfrac{-7\times4+3\times3-5\times6}{24}$}\\\\\\\large \text{$\dfrac{-28+9-30}{24}$}\\\\\\\large \text{$\dfrac{-51}{24}$}\\\\\\\large \text{$\dfrac{-17}{8}$}

3.

Additive inverse of 2 / 3 = - 2 / 3

Multiplicative inverse of 3 / 5 = 5 / 3

Now their multiplication

\large \text{$\dfrac{-2}{3} \times\dfrac{5}{3} $}\\\\\\\large \text{$\dfrac{-10}{9}$}

2.

\large \text{$5+\dfrac{1}{4}-(-\dfrac{3}{8} )$}\\\\\\\large \text{$\dfrac{20+1}{4}+\dfrac{3}{8}$}\\\\\\\large \text{$\dfrac{21}{4}+\dfrac{3}{8}$}\\\\\\\large \text{$\dfrac{42+3}{8}$}\\\\\\\large \text{$\dfrac{45}{8}$}

1.

We have to represent following on number line :

\large \text{$\dfrac{2}{3}, \ \dfrac{5}{2}, \ and \ \dfrac{-4}{5} $}

Refers to plot on coordinate plane.
