Answer:

Given equation is

x + 2

Putting 2 in place of X

2 + 2 ≠ 0

so 2 is not zero of this equation

Putting -2 at the place of X

-2 + 2 = 0

So -2 is zero of above equation.

We have to find zero of equation

2x + 1

so,

2x + 1 = 0

2x = -1

x = -1 /2

So , -1/2 is zero of above equation

Hope it helps

  1. Question⇒  Find the zero of the polynomial,p(x)=2x+1

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Hi...☺
  • Here is your answer...✌
  • =================================
  • p(x) = 2x-1
  • To find zero of p(x)
  • We have to put,
  • p(x) = 0
  • 2x+1 = 0
  • 2x = -1
  • x = -1/2
  • Hence,
  • Root of p(x) is -1/2
