From our birth...she thinks about and she wants our happiness!
She sacrifices her life for us..
Why can't we honour her..for one day?
That's why..By honouring and showing love on mother , we are celebrating this day as MOTHER'S DAY.

As we are talking about mother's day it means obviously we wanna thäńkş our mother.. In india, we celebrate this day to show our love to our mother.. Don't think that if šömêøñé will not celebrate it then he/she doesn't Łø'vë his/her mother, but mother's day is a day considered for paying a HEÅRTy special thäńkş to our Łø'vëly mother..
But,, the reality is something else.. Every day is mother's day.. We should respect our mother every day.. If a person go to the mother only on mother's day it doesn't mean that this person has celebrated mother's day.. But a person who Łø'vë mother whole year and then one day come to say thäńks which is mother's day.. That person go to the mother and give a single smile and that's enough....
That's the real meaning of mother's day according to me..
History behind it
Earlier, the ancient people of Greek were highly dedicated to their maternal goddesses on the special occasion of annual spring festival. According to the Greek mythology, they were celebrating this occasion in order to honour the Rhea (means the wife of Cronus as well as mother of many deities)
And then it become trend to celebrate it.. As today's generation is also celebrating it in some new ways but the history is still the same.. May be the mentality of people has been changed but it was first celebrated in ancient era by the greek and the Romans
