\red{\textbf{V.D.} of a volatile substance is 4 in comparison to methane (CH4=1)
what will be its molecular mass..

Q) What is \red{\textbf{V.D.} here???

hello GRANDPA MAX!!

V.D = MOLECULAR MASS/2

in CH4 molecular mass = 16

so, V.D = 16/2 =8

actually, (CH4=1) I.e relative V.D given,

now,

here relative v.D is 4 times then that of methane.

= 8*4=32

now, find molecular mass by applying formula

m.m = 2*32 =64g

hope it helps!!
