that is,

Ex= - dv/dx, Ey= - dv/dy, Ez= - dv/dz

now differentiating w.r.t to x keeping rest constant(y,z).

we get - 2xy - z^2

now differentiating w.r.t to y keeping rest constant(x,z).

we get  - ( x^2+2yz)

now differentiating w.r.t to z keeping rest constant(x,y).

we get  -(y^2+2zx)

now total E=Ex+Ey+Ez

which is equal to = - 2xy - z^2  -  ( x^2+2yz) - (y^2+2zx)
