From image we have :-

➪ ∠BAD = 60°

➪ ∠ADC = 80°

➪ ∠BCD = 120°

ᴄᴏɴᴄᴇᴘᴛ ᴜsᴇᴅ :-

  • Sum of the measures of interior angles of a Quadrilateral is 360°.
  • The measure of a straight angle is 180°, so a linear pair of angles must add up to 180°..

Sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-

Since all interior angles of Quad. ABCD = 360° .

➻ ∠BAD + ∠ADC + ∠BCD + ∠ABC = 360°

➻ 60° + 80° + 120° + ∠ABC = 360°

➻ 260° + ∠ABC = 360°

➻ ∠ABC = 360° - 260°

➻ ∠ABC = 100° .

Now,

➺ ∠x + ∠BCD = 180° (Linear Pair.)

➺ ∠x + 120° = 180°

➺ ∠x = 180° - 120°

➺ ∠x = 60° .

Similarly,

➺ ∠y + ∠ADC = 180° (Linear Pair.)

➺ ∠y + 80° = 180°

➺ ∠y = 180° - 80°

➺ ∠y = 100° .

Also,

➺ ∠z + ∠BAD = 180° (Linear Pair.)

➺ ∠z + 60° = 180°

➺ ∠z = 180° - 60°

➺ ∠z = 120° .

And,

➺ ∠w + ∠ABC = 180° (Linear Pair.)

➺ ∠w + 100° = 180°

➺ ∠w = 180° - 100°

➺ ∠w = 80° .

☞ ∠x + ∠y + ∠z + ∠w = 60° + 100° + 120° + 80°

☞ ∠x + ∠y + ∠z + ∠w = 360° (Ans.)

Hence, ∠x + ∠y + ∠z + ∠w is Equal to 360°.
