N = mg

N = 10

(Normal reaction from the surface will be equal to weight of the body)

We know that,

Frictional Force = μN

                          = μmg = 10μ

Here we have to face the problem of choosing coefficient of static friction or coefficient of kinetic friction

Since the block is not moving ie, the block is static we have to take coefficient of static friction

Hence,

Frictional Force = μs * mg

                          = 0.5×10

                          = 5N
