Step-by-step explanation:

THE ZERO OF THE POLYNOMIAL IS NOTHING ELSE BUT JUST A NUMBER BY PUTTING WHICH TO THE VALUE OF X THAT NUMBER MAKES WHOLE EQUATION(POLYNOMIAL) ZERO.

FOR EXAMPLE:-

IF I HAVE THE EQUATION:-P(X)=X-5

THEN,

WE KNOW

F(X)=0

X-5=0

X=5.

NOW PUTTING THE VALUE OF X IN X-5 WE GET,

=>X-5

=> 5-5=0.

THEREFORE, THE VALUE OF X MAKES THE EQUATION (POLYNOMIAL) ZERO SO IT IS A ZERO OF THE POLYNOMIAL.
