Given,

P1=1

P2=?

V1=500 dm^3

V2=200dm^3

Apply Boyle's law P1V1 = P2V2 to calculate P2 as temp remains constant.

P2= P1V1'/V2

=1 bar × 500 dm^3 / 200 dm^3

= 2.5 bar
