THE LIMITATIONS OF MODERN PERIODIC TABLE ARE :-

➡️ The lanthanoids and actinoids i.e. d and f block elements are given no space in it they are separately mentioned at the bottom.

➡️ There is no fixed position of Hydrogen whether it should be placed in group - 1 elements or group - 17 elements.

➡️ There is no separate position for isotopes. For Eg :- Hydrogen has 3 isotopes detrium , protium , tritium.

What are the limitations of modern period table ?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ans-: a) Position of hydrogen : It could not assign a correct position to hydrogen in the table . b) The lanthanides and antinides are not placed in the main body of the table . c) Position of isotope : There are no separate positions for isotopes of an element .
