sublimation occur to change a solid directly into gaseous state by heating  and the gaseous state directly into solid state by cooling.

           for example solid substance like iodine,naphthalene,camphor directly changes into solid state without changing in to liquid and when the gaseous state of these substances are cooled they directly changes into solid state.
