Given :-

Base fee a person had to pay to rent a truck = $18.99

Fees a person had to pay for each kilometer driven :-

= 99 cents

= $0.99

So, a person has to pay $0.99 for each kilometer driven .

Money Mansour had to pay when he retured the truck = $282.33

Money Mansour had to pay for the distance he travelled :-

= 282.33 - 18.99

= $263.34

Distance travelled by Mansour :-

 =  \frac{\texttt{263.34}}{\texttt{0.99}}

 =\color{hotpink}\texttt{ 266 \: km}

Therefore, the distance Mansour drove the truck is = 266 km .
