• The speaker who is Amanda's mother advises her not to bite her nails. Her mother also tells Amanda to sit straight without bending her shoulder.
• Amanda does not pay head to her mother's advice. She is lost in her own dreams. She thinks that she is a mermaid and she is swimming happily in bright green seawater.
• Amanda's mother asks her if she has done her homework, polished her shoes, and cleaned her room.
• Amanda does not reply to her mother's questions. She dreams that she is an orphan who is free.
• Again her mother tells Amanda not to eat chocolates as it would lead acne-problems to her face.
• Amanda do not give attention to her mother and she dreams that she is a Rapunzel who is living in a tower alone.
• Now, her mother loses her patience and tells Amanda to stop her sulking. She also tells that Amanda is very moody. And people would think that she always scolds Amanda.
