To Find :

The quantity of gram produced by the farmer

Given :

  • Fraction of wheat = 3/4
  • fraction of gram = 1/4
  • Quantity of wheat = 600 quintals

Let's Assume :

  • Total Production = x
  • Production of wheat = 3x/4
  • Production of gram = x - 3x/4

Solution :

So, Total quantity of wheat = 600 qu

So, 3x/4 = 600

or, 3x = 4×600

or, x = 4×200

or, x = 800

So, total Production = 800 qu

So, Production of gram = 800-600 = 200 qu

Hence, option c) 200 qu

is correct
